Bullet Proof For Love
Last week we asked: Do you believe in jazz?. From the votes your response was: YES.
I am sure we have all heard about the dark knight shooter that woke up one day and decided to kill people for no reason at all. To be honest, no matter how much people try to justify or find some sort of excuse for what he did, I will never ever understand his actions. However, one thing I took out from this mess and I must say, it’s something that actually took me by surprise was the way some of the guys at the cinema shielded their girlfriends from the bullets.
*Long pause*
For some reason, when I read this, I pictured some Nigerian couples in that situation and what came to my mind was far from what happened that day. This brings me to today’s poll.
Can you take a bullet for your significant other?

Personally, I cannot. I have realized that in this life, you have to be sharp. Infact ‘sharpness is a virtue’… But I am sure there are still some romantic couples out there.

There should be an 'I don't know' option in the poll, because sometimes human beings will do the most unexpected things when the chips are down.

To live with guilt is a terrible thing. I won't want to take that bullet for my significant other and have him living in guilt and constantly thinking 'it could have been me, that bullet was meant for me'.
But then again anything can happen in the heat of the moment…but still, I blame Bruno Mars

The honest fact is that in that moment btw when the person jumps in front of u and the pullin of the trigger is when u realise jst how much u love som1. There hv being ppl that have jumpd in d grave with dead loved ones… Some have cried theirselves into stupor. Sincerely, i hope when i meet the right person, shd such a situatn arise, i hope i'm so in love that i'd rather die than live without u. :)
What about ur other loved ones and family u'll leave heart broken, in grief, and mourning? And dis person u love will move on and love anoda…
Ur probabli right i mean but nah, no, mba… Ordinary heartbreak earlier in d year left me cold for 3months. I doubt i'll live a life full enough to warrant bein alive instead sha.
@Sapphire013, no one says you are Jesus. The whole idea is that it is entirely possible for someone to love another that much or to feel really protective of that person….those Colorado guys showed it. However, no one delibrately plans for such a moment, so you can't be too sure you'll actually do it if it ever happens but then again, the true intent of your heart will definitely show forth at that point!

Personally I don't know what I'd do, it all boils down to our instincts, sometimes when faced with tough situations, I find myself doing things I didn't envisage I'd do from the start
