Start Small, Think Big and Dream Unlimited
As I interact with people everyday, I realize more that the brain is such a terrible thing to waste. People have amazing potential hidden away just waiting to be put to great use and the greatest of use of them all are the ideas we generate.
But for those who make it past the execution table, there’s another form of disaster that makes non execution seem like Child’s Play – Chukky!!!! (-_-) *lame* …. Its the Big Start Syndrome.
Everytime I talk to people about their ideas and I detect the Master Plan of having a Facebook growth in 2 – 3 Years ( and that’s being modest cos I have heard weirder things ) I practically have to pour water on them and try to get them back to the reality zone.
Never plan to start Big… It clouds your thinking quickly and overwhelms your resources no matter how unlimited you perceive them to be. Maybe its because Nigeria and Africa has so much Natural resources, we have a tendency to believing Starting Big is so Cool. It’s not!
Start Small – Remember that all you need is the 1st set of Products, Clients or Service Provided to get you knowing where things are headed very quickly.
Think Big – Always keep your Vision and Goals as Wide and Realist as possible. Nothing stops you from expanding as you exceed them as well. But not before.
Dream Unlimited – Fuel your executed ideas with Dreams… Never stop Dreaming because if you push hard enough you can make them reality. But you must have built that psychic link and have that focus point you have developed so well… Your small start point.
In my usual unusual way of trying to link things together, I remember when as a kid we would focus the rays of the sun with a Lens to burn insects…! If the Rays of the Sun are your Dreams, the Lens can be your Thoughts and that focus point can be your Start… The smaller the more intense.
Stay Hot and Focused.
